CLOSE RELATIONSHIP OF VEGETATION TYPE AND MINERALS IN A GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION
There is a close relationship of vegetation type and soil elements or minerals in a geographical location, Prof. Keith Shephard said during a seminar presentation at the University of Nairobi, School of Engineering, Institute of Nuclear Science and Technology (INST). However, Shephard said this is somehow difficult in Africa from the use of artificial fertilizer. Thus we “will take time to ascertain the relationship,” said the soil scientist working with World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF), Kenya.
