YOU'RE A FRIEND

When my heart was boiling
in tears of sorrow
you dared to tally
mopping floods of pain.
You're a friend.

When guilty and stress
stifled my soul
you stayed: judging not
affording a leaning, hope
You're my friend.

In my dreams
as wild as utopia
(None to count on)
your encouragement aspired
me: to walk unbeaten path.
You're my friend.

You dared to walk (with me)
thru' the fires and storms of life
you were burnt and drowned...
You're a friend.

In my wild words:
rushing as undirected arrows
graciously you picked seeds
letting the chaff - off.
You're a friend.
