KENYANS URGED TO EMBRACE ENERGY EFFICIENT TECHNOLOGIES AND MANAGEMENT

Dr. Kamau Gachigi an engineering lecture and the chairman and coordinator Science and Technology Park Steering Committee dubbed as Fabrication Laboratory (FabLab), a project oriented on the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) based at the University of Nairobi, school of engineering, they are out to scout and tap creative, innovative, and entrepreneurial mind from across the country who can innovate and add value to exciting energy technologies to cut the huge energy costs and cut down huge energy deficit - while availing them to remote areas of the country.

Gachigi is encouraging every one who feels to have any project that is incubating in his mind to match forward and harness the available resources at FabLab to build appropriate technology projects that can be an answer Kenyan energy needs.
