Prof. Crispus Kiamba, PS Ministry of Higher Education has urged scientist to write their research findings and recommendations in a common man's language to reach the larger public whose research targets. This emerged during the Pan Afican Chemistry Network Conference (PACN) at Chiromo Campus, University of Nairobi. The attendency of the media was wanting, save during the launching day when the presence of former Mozambique president, Joaquim Chissano and government ministers was expected.
Notwithstanding the speeches that were presented, nothing else was given coverage by the media. Yet, the conference was confined to address the water crisis that Kenya, Sub-Saharan, is going through - from the scientific (experts) perspective.
The conference that was dubbed as 'sustainable water conference', was held between 25th - 28th August, sponsored Royal Society of Chemistry, University of Nairobi and Syngenta.
